The Collegiate Learning Assessment: facts and fantasies

Article Abstract:

The Collegiate Learning Assessment (CLA) is a program designed for students to assess the college or university's contribution to learning, by using tests on analytic reasoning and communication skills. The CLA's assessment, how definitive its assessments are, and the difference of its scores from other college student learning measures are examined.
