Evidence toward an expanded model of organizational identification

Article Abstract:

Members of an organization are said to identify themselves with it when they begin to describe themselves along the same lines as the organization's policies and goals. The relationship between age and job performance evaluations for entry-level professionals

Article Abstract:

Analysis of the results of the study establishing the relationship between age and job performance evaluations show that evaluators tend to score their 'older' entry-level employees lower as their age increase. This conclusion is an unstable measure of performance evaluation due to the effects of age level, job complexity, and corporate norms on the relationship and the subsequent evaluation process. A more accurate gauge of an applicant's job suitability during the screening process is his prior experience, which can provide an overview of the applicant's potentials.
