Unmet needs aids struggling families

Article Abstract:

Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) in association with Vermont American Power Tools runs the Unmet Needs program which falls under the VFW's Military Assistance Program has given more than one million dollar as help to military families. The military families are provided with assistance while recovering from a war injury or disabled in war and cannot work by fulfilling their needs such as mortgage payments and repairs to vehicles.

VFW publications: Reference tools for the classroom

Article Abstract:

The VFW publications has played a very big role in paying tribute to the war veterans of America by publishing the way they fought, their sacrifice and many such patriotic issues. The magazine not only honored the war veterans but it also worked as the educating material for the teachers to bring in to the minds of the students about the American war veterans and their commitment towards their country.

Robotic Limbs offer new hopes to amputees

Article Abstract:

The Providence Center for Restorative and Regenerative Medicine at the Providence Medical Center promises technological advances like robotic limbs for those who are wounded in the war. The hope for availability of bio-hybrid limbs commercially and lifelike prostheses with a neural interface is demonstrated.
