V-mail: Will revolutionize VFW communications

Article Abstract:

VFW has introduced a new e-mail system designed exclusively for VFW Posts, Departments, and national headquarters that are available anytime, anywhere through an Internet connection, which is safe and an effective means of communication. Some 2000 posts and 38 departments are using this new method and it provides information about VFW programs to everyone, and has also simplified and centralized record keeping.

Dak To: '33 days of violent, sustained combat'

Article Abstract:

During 110 hours of combat in late November 1967, the 173rd Airborne Brigade survived the fight for Hill 875. The 4th Infantry Divisions 1st Brigade also played a vital part in the larger month-long Battle of Dak To.
