"We always have a beer after the meeting": How norms, customs, conventions, and like explain behavior

Article Abstract:

Explanations in terms of norms, customs, convention, culture and the like are certainly very common ways of accounting for human behavior. A study explores how these ubiquitous but not altogether understood concepts really explain behavior, how they are related, how they differ, and what they contrast with.
