A brief analysis of rural women's basic condition and life in fourteen of China's provinces and cities

Article Abstract:

The results of research work conducted in 14 Chinese cities and provinces on the status of rural women is analyzed. Topics include the effect on rural women of familiy size, life style, partnership choice, and marital status.

Drawing aside Hollywood's veil

Article Abstract:

Too many large-budget US films idealize Americans and Western culture. The moral and ethical aspects of such films need to be considered as well as their entertainment value before they are distributed in China.
