A suggested push model for interpreting the dilemmas of institutional care, community care and family care of mental-health consumers

Article Abstract:

A push model for interpreting the dilemmas of institutional care, community care and family care of mental health consumers is proposed to compare these dilemmas in Hong Kong relative to the UK and the USA. It is suggested that instead of a push-model in which related parties try to pass off their responsibilities to other parties, it is better to advocate a pull model.
