Self-generated alcohol outcomes in 8th and 10th graders: exposure to vicarious sources of alcohol information

Article Abstract:

The perceived positive and negative outcomes of alcohol use, in a sample of 8th and 10th graders is studied. Results indicate that exposure to vicarious sources of alcohol information did not predict self generated responses, whereas alcohol use and first-hand observation of others' drinking could influence the respondents.
