Atlanta: capital of the 21st century?

Article Abstract:

Facts contradict the notion that Atlanta, GA, has become so prosperous that it does not have time to discriminate against non-whites. First, the post-Olympic Games economic scenario is far from booming. Hosting the games ended up costing Atlantans huge amounts of money stemming from direct and indirect subsidies. Second, Atlanta is not as ethnically diverse as its power brokers would like to think. Such a distinction belongs to San Francisco, CA.
