Mike Krahulik and Jerry Holkins' comic strip Penny Arcade gets 55 million pageviews every month. It appeals mainly to gamers because of the authors' use of geek speak and their bold criticism of the game industry. Penny Arcade has evolved into an online advertising and merchandising company centered around its comic strip.
