Derived stimulus relations, semantic priming, and event-related potentials: Testing a behavioral theory of semantic networks

Article Abstract:

The basic postulate that derived equivalence relations provide a behavioral model of semantic or symbolic meaning in natural language, and thus equivalence relations are tested using semantic priming considering that they should possess properties that are typically associated with semantic relations. The results suggest that formally tested equivalence class does not provide an accurate model of an indirect semantic relation.

A precursor to the relational evaluation procedure: searching for the contextual cues that control equivalence responding

Article Abstract:

The precursor to the relational evaluation procedure (pREP) is a go/no-go successive discrimination procedure for examining stimulus equivalence. Two experiments conducted to identify contextual cues that would generate equivalence responding on the pREP.

Derived relational responding as generalizaed operant behavior

Article Abstract:

Derived relational response can be seen as a type of generalized operant behavior. Relational frame theory, which states this principle, was supported by this study.
