Drugs of abuse and the elicitation of human aggressive behavior

Article Abstract:

The relationship between drugs and violence can be explained through direct and indirect reasons, alcohol use being one such direct reason. A review of the available literature that deals with the relationship of various drugs of abuse and heightened interpersonal violence is presented.
