Gender and the devolution of pension risks in the U.S

Article Abstract:

The Panel Study of Income Dynamics data is used to examine the inequality in the accumulation of pension balances in private accounts for two cohorts of workers in the United States. It shows that while men and women face new pension risks, women continue to bear greater disadvantages associated with gender, marital status and labor market position.

Hindsight bias in legal decision making

Article Abstract:

The role of hindsight bias in legal decisions is examined. A review of the hindsight bias in judgments of legal liability and medical malpractice litigation, the relationship between outcome severity and bias magnitude, visual hindsight bias in the courtroom and hindsight bias in experts is presented.
