Article Abstract:

Issues concerning human evolution, sex, matrimony, and family in the context of Chinese moralism and Victorian puritanism are discussed. From sociological and cultural backgrounds of 19th century, a distinction is made between Western and Eastern societies with the former predominantly based on 'guilt' and the latter on 'shame' with respect to sex and sexuality.

Eliminating pornography

Article Abstract:

Issues concerning 'sexual liberation' and its impact on the social fabric of young people are discussed. The study decries the idea that supporting sexual freedom mitigates the spread of prostitution and venereal diseases, reduces divorce, sexual harassment and sex crimes.

This article examines the impact of the commercialization of films today on artistic filmmaking. The author argues big budget commercial films, such as the 'Titanic', has made filmmakers ponder the fate of the film industry and true film art.
