Implementing pastoral strategies

Article Abstract:

The Second Consultation on the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Refugees in Asia's participants have committed themselves to promote and undertake certain pastoral strategies for migration at different levels of the Church's organization. Such strategies include coordination and networking, information exchange, coalition and advocacy work. These programs will be properly implemented at the diocesan, national and regional levels.

Active agents in pastoral care of seafarers

Article Abstract:

Pope John Paul II's Apostolic Letter 'Stella Maris' is addressed to all those who work in fishing vessels, merchant ships and harbors as well as their families. The document, which was written in Jan 31, 1997, outlines the different offices for the pastoral care of these people. It also details the duties of the chaplains of the Apostleship of the Sea as well as those of the regional and continental coordinators.
