The author maintains that Rapport Fujisawa ensures that an independent lifestyle for each person is maintained, all remaining capabilities of the elderly are utilized, and the human dignity and self-choice of each person are respected.

Continuing care retirement communities and efficiency in the financing of long-term care

Article Abstract:

This article discusses the financial advantages of Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRC). The author maintains that CCRC's allow the elderly to use their finances more efficiently, provide long-term care insurance, the elderly do not have to pay for two sources of housing, and the CCRC's deliver health care on site.
