Health for women: challenge for all

Article Abstract:

Several gains have been made from campaigns to promote women's health by various national and international organizations. These gains differ widely from woman to woman. Unfortunately, some women are still significantly disadvantaged, particularly those who are poor, illiterate and oppressed. Several of these women have difficulties in seeking heath care assistance and are malnourished. Social work measures that can further promote the health of women are presented.
