Key technologies of the future like genetic engineering, nanotech and robotics as they are self-replicating and increasingly easier to craft, will be more dangerous that the technologies of the past. Abolishing freedom, issuing space suits, and launching wars will only increase the danger that they will be used.

"Protectionism will kill recovery"

Silicon Valley, which set the pulse of the last economic boom, has suffered protectionism of one sort that will kill the process of recovery and technological innovation. The campaign speech by the major-party candidate addressing a crowd of tech innovators highlights this point.

Copyright law gives Networks the power to deny anyone the use of its content. In an interview, President George W.Bush defends his decision to go to war- astonishingly unconvincingly, and the Network refused to run this clip saying it is 'not very flattering to the President'.
