NAHRO 2005 Legislative Conference focuses on standing together for strong communities

Article Abstract:

An exploration into the proceedings of the 2005 NAHRO Legislative Conference started in March 14, 2005 at the JW Marriott in Washington, D.C is presented. One of the important speech was presented by NPR correspondent and political analyst Juan Williams who discussed the political scenario and its priorities and asked the audience to remind their communities and legislators to deal with important issues related to food, clothing and shelter for the underprivileged.

The NAHRO 2006 Summer Conference

Article Abstract:

The 2006 National Association of Housing & Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) Summer Conference was held in Denver, Colorado, from July 14-16, 2006. The conference provided a wide range of speakers at the general sessions, concurrent sessions on a wide variety of housing and community development (HCD) topics, and three study tours that focused on various metropolitan neighborhoods.

An outline of events and highlights for the 2005 NAHRO Summer Conference that was held at the San Francisco Marriott from July 14-17, 2005 is presented. The conference themed, 'Cornerstone for Success: Innovative Approaches to Sustainable Communities' provided an overview of events and suggested relevant sessions and activities based on attendees' work and interests.
