On the benefits of thinking unconsciously: Unconscious thought can increase post-choice satisfaction

Article Abstract:

The extent to which conscious thought and unconscious thought affect the quality of choice is examined. It was observed that unconscious thinkers were more satisfied with their choice as compared to those who thought consciously or not at all.

Effects of subliminal priming of self and God on self-attribution of authorship for events

Article Abstract:

The influence of subliminal priming of particular agents on the attribution of authorship for action to self is studied. It is observed that feelings of authorship decreased when the participants who were believers were primed with God.

Subliminal exposure to faces and racial attitudes: exposure to Whites makes Whites like Blacks less

Article Abstract:

The effects of repeated intragroup contact on the intergroup attitudes of Whites are assessed. It is observed that notwithstanding changes in societal norms, the attitudes of Whites towards African-Americans remain ambivalent at best.
