On the prestige of military education

Article Abstract:

The analysis of the value orientations and attitudes of future officers leads to the conclusion that for cadets in higher military educational institutions, obtaining a higher education and a prestigious profession represent an essential condition of their future service activity. At the same time, having acceptable housing and living conditions and monetary compensation as well as provided with material benefits will be decisive when it comes to their decisions regarding the prospects of serving in the Armed Forces.

The military serviceman in the conditions of the disciplinary military unit

Article Abstract:

The study focuses on the convicts who are serving time in the form of designated to a disciplinary military unit, in two military districts, Moscow and the North Caucasus. The particular contingent of convicts is a part of the army, and the characteristics that are typical of law abiding military servicemen are also, to some extent or other, characteristic of convicted military servicemen.

The health of military contract service personnel and members of their families

Article Abstract:

The existence of difficult problems of daily life and of a social nature, limited food rations, very high physical and mental stress on the job, the occasional lack of the most elementary conditions necessary for decent rest and recreation, are making it harder to maintain the health of military service personnel and associated with that the provision of medical services.
