Relationship aggression and substance use among women court-refered to domestic violence intervention programs

Article Abstract:

Multiple measures of substance use and abuse along with assessed marital aggression, marital satisfaction depressive symptomatology of 35 women arrested for domestic violence and referred to batterer intervention programs by the court, were examined. The results show that substance use and abuse should be assessed as part of batterer interventions, routinely.
