Article Abstract:

The book, Unmaking Goliath presents a research on the local autonomy of the various localities in America, with reference to the three main central arenas of life and also explores the scale of localities and their participation and autonomy with the methodology involved in it. The book helps in understanding the concepts of local politics, local dependence and counter-hegemonic economies, which are the key factors to understand the position of local places in the global economy.
