'The Wired CD' is a concept album with licenses from Creative Commons, the innovative nonprofit and The Noncommercial Sampling Plus license that permits noncommercial file sharing and sampling. The Creative Commons licenses give musicians, authors, designers, and other creators a flexible, opt-in licensing system, letting them determine what secondary uses are allowed and under what conditions.

Equity deal, standard deal, license deal, profit sharing, M&D deal, and self distribution are the six options provided to artists. Details on the trends and marketing in the music industry are discussed.
