Social work, social development and community welfare centers in international perspective

Article Abstract:

The international community views locally-based community welfare centers as powerful institutions for the overall development of the neighbourhood and its people. Community centers link various members of the locales, stakeholders and the government to effectively deliver basic services to the needy and the disadvantaged. Social workers also head community center movements for the development of the social, economic and political condition of mankind.
