Some logical functions of joint control

Article Abstract:

Research was conducted to study the notion of joint behavioral control and its capability to bring about an interpretative account of different kinds of performances. The onset of joint control is characterized by a stimulus event associated with the appearance of a second source of control over a rehearsed topography. Results showed that two stimuli evoke a common topography wherein the autoclitic response serves to select a stimulus. They also indicated that if one stimulus is a word and the other is an object, the the performance described is related to naming/

Relations among equivalence, naming, and conflicting baseline control

Article Abstract:

This study examines the relationship between stimulus equivalence relations, stimulus naming, and contextual control in college students. Findings indicate that equivalence responding is not directly dependent on stimulus naming and is disrupted in some subjects after learning new stimulus relations.

Equivalence classes in individuals with minimal verbal repertoires

Article Abstract:

Researchers evaluated the verbal behavior of individuals with severe mental retardation. Despite previous assertions, equivalence classes were found to be demonstrated by individuals with minimal verbal repertoires.
