The cocaine effects for patient populations: development and psychometric properties

Article Abstract:

The present study reports the development and psychometric properties of the Cocaine Effects Questionnaire (CEQ-P), designed specifically for use with patients in treatment for substance abuse. It concludes that the Cocaine Effects Questionnaire (CEQ-P) is a psychometrically sound instrument with potential utility, particularly with patient populations.

Effects of tobacco deprivation on alcohol cue reactivity and drinking among young adults

Article Abstract:

A study on the effect of brief tobacco deprivation on an inclination towards alcohol consumption amongst adolescents was analyzed. Deprivation of tobacco led to a strong urge to smoke, and weak cardiovascular responses but did not lead to alcohol intake.

The Smoking Effects Questionnaire for adult populations development and psychometric properties

Article Abstract:

Tests show good construct and concurrent validity for the Smoking Effects Questionnaire compared to other measures of smoking variables and similar constructs. Implications for its use in smoking cessation treatment scenarios are discussed.
