The founder and chairperson of Deep Ocean Exploration and Research in California, describes her experience in exploring the deep ocean where she reveals that her knowledge of the ocean has increased by studying the surface of the oceans from space. She states that the oceans answer many mysteries of the history of life, such as the earthbound and extraterrestrial.

Beam us up, Hollywood: Jumper applies some showbiz science to teleportation

Article Abstract:

Jumper's portrayal of a teleportation is not very accurate because teleportation is a transfer of quantum states and not particles according to a physicist. T eleportation means there is no movement or link across space and time so Hollywood-style teleportation is impossible.
