The contents of a report on trafficking in persons prepared by the Trafficking Office established by the U.S. Department of State to monitor and combat trafficking in persons is presented. The magnitude and causes of this modern form of slavery along with ways and means to eradicate trafficking globally in the source, transit and destination countries with the help of the U.S. are discussed.
