Changes in route of drug administration among continuing heroin users: Outcomes 1 year after intake to treatment

Article Abstract:

A sample consisting of six hundred and forty-one heroin users was studied to determine the type and extent of changes in route of drug administration especially among continuing heroin users after treatment. The results suggest that the transitions that take place in the routes of administration represent an important measure of outcome and should be incorporated in the treatments for heroin users.
