Turkey's Kurdish problem: Steps toward a solution

Article Abstract:

Import factors like mistrust between Kurdish and Turkish, continued terrorist activity, failure in government's reform measures and divided leadership of the Kurdish community are some of the obstacles that stand in the way of developing a democratic solution of Turkey's Kurdish problem. Civil action training for Turkish military and security personnel and open-ended conversation between moderate Turks and Kurds to define area of accommodation are some of the immediate solutions for the problem.

Applying lessons from medical management of conventional terror to responding to weapons of mass destruction terror: the experience of a tertiary university hospital

Article Abstract:

This article evaluates the Hadassah University Hospitals in Jerusalem, Israel regarding the care of terrorist victims. The authors maintain the injury patterns and epidemilogy of the terror victims demonstrates that terror is associated with more severe injuries, and the hopitals' experiences can be valuable for training medical personnel for handling injuries from weapons of mass destruction.

The ISI and the War on Terrorism

The unreliable role of Pakistan's Directorate of Inter-Service Intelligence (ISI) in the War on Terrorism is discussed. Its double standards in co-operating with the West in the War on Terrorism, while promoting terrorism at home are described.
