Village power structures behind urbanization

Article Abstract:

The process of change in an ethnic village and Wangjiashan's power structure during the period of urbanization with reference to 'urbanization' and 'ethnic minorities' is described. The changes that occur in the power structures of an ethnic minority village that has varying self-consciousness and ethnic cultures are discussed.

Group marriage and promiscuity in Chinese primitive society: a query

Article Abstract:

Chinese books which are often referred to demonstrate casual mating, contradict the thesis of ancient sexual promiscuity. Role of the father in procreation was replaced by imaginary or natural objects and this shows the lack of basic knowledge in procreation in ancient times.

The dual nature of the imperial system and the development of China's national economy

The imperial system, which existed for more that two thousand years, has constructed the pattern of today's china through continuous regional development. The co-existence of various structures in the country can be attributed to the rich content of the imperial system.
