John Dalton, Donald Duck and there has to be an easier way to get an "A."
Article Abstract:
A skin diver proved through actual experience the accuracy of Dalton's law of partial pressures by diving in a chamber filled with 5% oxygen and 95% helium. The gas mixture was breathable at higher pressures as predicted by John Dalton. He also learned some facts about helium.

Lessons learned about self-reliance

A young skin diver learned that one should never totally depend on one's diving partner even if that person is your mother. Accidents can happen and it is advisable to wear or have equipment with bright colors for better visibility.
