Article Abstract:

Peace Corp volunteer Louis Renner gained valuable experience from the five years he spent teaching vocational courses in Swaziland, Africa. While in Africa, Renner learned to be resourceful in making the most out of the scarce teaching materials available and to be happy despite the lack of material things. He values the respect Africans give to teachers and their eagerness for learning. Renner hopes these qualities might be acquired by his countrymen.
