Equine sculptor Deborah Butterfield has shifted from plaster to found objects such as scrap metal, wood and wire. The use of different materials has led her to employ more abstract methods. Interest in her work has grown, and her sculptures can be found in numerous museums.

The birth of cuttlefish

Article Abstract:

The Giant Cuttlefish is a rarely observed cephalopod which grows to about three feet. The female cuttlefish lays its eggs in a communal area and its hatchlings swim to the surface upon hatching from their egg cases.
