After the fall

Accidents happen on bicycle races. However, it is not advisable to go on with the race after a fall without briefly inspecting each part of the bike. This is to ensure a safe ride before re-joining the race. Inspection techniques for quick repairs during bike races are presented.

A plan for cantilever brake adjustment is provided. The technique includes tightening levers, lubricating components and replacing worn pads. Spring tension should be adjusted for tightness.
