Chasing rainbows

Article Abstract:

Spring provides some of the best rainbow trout fishing. Spawning season results in predictable fish behavior that can make locating fish fairly easy. For example, lake trout move in toward shore, then move along the shoreline in search of running water.

Elk make strange bugle sounds during their rutting period. Their behavior at this time is fascinating to watch, and it usually occurs near the time of a full moon. Weather and hormones seem to be a factor also.
