Diving scholarship: hitting the jackpot

Article Abstract:

The Our World-Underwater Scholarship Society will award one scholarship per year to one diver planning a career in any aquatic-related field. The scholarship, as part of the society's 25th year celebration, will provide several diving equipment such as a Rolex Submariner watch. The scholarship also features a one-year all-expense-paid travel to selected places where the scholar could have hands on training in the selected field of interest. Anyone aged between 21 and 24, with good academic standing, and had at least 25 open water dives could apply for the scholarship.

Florida Keys

Article Abstract:

The Florida Keys, FL, is a haven for divers who love marine life. Because of the marine zoning implemented in some parts of the Keys in 1997, marine life ranging from Pacific batfish to barracudas blossomed in the area. In Key Largo, underwater sight-seeing is widely practice as the Gulf Stream's clear blue waters overflow onto the fringing reefs. In the Middle Keys, about a dozen dive operators that offer a wide array of services ranging from snorkeling to two-tank trips are found.

10 things we love about Belize

Article Abstract:

Belize is one of the countries that are rich in natural resources. One of the ten most loved features of the country is its barrier reef, the longest in the hemisphere, that stretches from the Yucatan Peninsula to the Gulf of Honduras. The country is also loved for its Ambergris Caye and the village of San Pedro. Belize is populated with only 230,000 people, thus, a large part of the environment is occupied by other species.
