Article Abstract:

Bird dogs have a desire to hunt and exposure to birds should begin while the dogs are still puppies to better develop their passion to hunt. The development of the pointing process requires time and should not be forced on the dogs. Training techniques are included.

Squirrel hunting with feists is becoming a favorite sport. Feists are agile and intelligent hunting dogs. They are trained to tree squirrels and come when called. Feist pups cost approximately $150, and the price for trained dogs is $750 or more.

The jeep of spaniels

Clumber spaniels are good hunting dogs because they can follow a trail without losing it and can be trained as hunting dogs in about 20 hours. The dogs are not for all hunters partially due to their laid-back nature and hunting style.
