Drifting in the dark

Being on a lake at night makes the daytime cares of the world seem trivial. A night fisherman in the Swan Mountains made a bass lure, not even knowing whether there were bass in the lake. He caught some mysterious fish, which he later learned were squawfish, before he began to catch bass.

Dreamers: it takes true vision to transform that idea fish into reality

Sometimes fishermen have to have hopes that are not necessarily realistic when they set out to fish. Two fishing stories are told. One is set in 1992 in Key West, FL, in which a large tarpon escapes after being hooked.

A father hopes that a fishing trip will become a treasured memory to his son and nephew as they grow up. The trip was a memorable one, as both the son and the nephew caught a large bass fish.
