Some people who depend on walking for exercise may be concerned about studies that show the need for vigorous exercise, but a proper walking routine can qualify as 'vigorous.' The recommended pace is four miles an hour, and the frequency should be at least 30 minutes, five times a week.

All people do not age at the same rate, and professionals who study and work with aging are more inclined to use the concept of biological age, rather than chronological age. The 'nature vs. nurture' controversy and other concepts of aging are explored.
