Exercise in cancer survivors: An overview of research

Article Abstract:

An overview of the role of physical exercise to enhance the quality of life (QOL) to reduce the recurrence of cancer and also to extend the survival of cancer survivors is discussed. The findings suggested that exercise play an important role in cancer control efforts but further research is required to examine the effects of exercise on promising biomarkers of disease and cancer recurrence and overall survival.

Intervention studies in exercise and cancer prevention

Article Abstract:

The clinical trials and intervention studies describes the association between physical activity and cancer risk and prognosis which is very difficult in observational studies. The study has suggested that the biomarker endpoints lie in the causal pathway between physical activity and cancer development.
