Exploring the "inevitability" of the relationship between anabolic-androgenic steroid use and aggression in human males

Article Abstract:

Current research methodologies are insufficient to establish a direct link between steroid use and aggression. New theories posit that anabolic-androgenic steroids are less of a factor in aggressive behavior in males than psychosocial aspects. These theories address the inadequacies of the pharmacological approach, and suggest that social mediation may be a significant deterrent to aggression.

Generalization effects in coping skills training

Article Abstract:

Research is presented on the generalization, or transference, of coping skills to other life domains. Findings include the positive impact of generalization on locus of control, self esteem and other global personality traits, suggesting that generalization should become a primary consideration in coping skills training.
