Digital Controls Corp.'s 3105 Switch consists of three elements - an I-O Link Control Unit (IOLC), and I-O Link Adapter (IOLA), and an I-O Link cable. The 3105 is designed primarily as a backup device, though it can be used to increase throughput by adding disk units or printers at various times during the day. It requires no software changes, requires connection to a 120 VAC outlet, and can handle the switching of common trunk devices. The 3105 costs $845 or can be leased for thirty-eight dollars per month. A circuit diagram is provided.
