Article Abstract:

Scenic and secretive cycling trails are important prerequisites for the recreational activity of cycling. The isolated cycling trails of Vermont's paved roads and Napa Valley, CA., provides a sense of privacy for the average cyclist. This also includes the rugged trails of Suwanee River, Florida; Pine Ridge, Nebraska and the Pigsah National Forest of North Carolina.

The glycogen window

Article Abstract:

A discussion of how muscles need to replenish glycogen after cycling is presented. Eating as soon as possible after cycling is recommended since the body can can convert carbohydrates into glycogen for a period of a few hours. At least 50 grams of carbohydrate should be eaten during the first two hours.
