Intraindividual variation of objectively measured physical activity in children

Article Abstract:

A random-intercepts model analyzing the gender, age, height and the body mass index of various children is employed to examine the seasonal and intraindividual variation in objectively measured physical activity in 11- to 12-year old children. The analysis proves the existence of a large variation in their objectively measured physical activities.
