Article Abstract:

The need to devise a professional military education (PME) system by the Senior Leader Development Program (SLDP) is addressed, as it could help in shaping the senior PME continuum that identifies several sets of competencies including warfighting, executive-level leadership, joint and coalition operations, transformation and change management. The SLDP proposes to evaluate each new PME opportunities and make recommendations regarding whether any new course is worthy of inclusion as a core or complementary course.
