Michael Carr's entry in the 1994-95 BOC Challenge solo race around the world is the 'Imagine,' an innovative 60-foot boat made of recycled aluminum. It has a very broad beam and carries an enormous amount of sail and ballast.

Two geezers strike back

An account of two older sailors who decided to acquire a 1960s boat for themselves and their families to sail during races is presented. The old boat performed well and was more comfortable than modern racing craft.
