A hit and run driver bumped cyclist Stone while attempting to establish a personal record of 10,000 miles in 100 days. The accident did not dampen his spirit to continue his marathon cycling feat. He plans to establish a transcontinental ride in Australia consisting of 8,813 miles in 40 1/2 days.
