Plasticity of skeletal muscle mitochondria: structure and function

Article Abstract:

The molecular mechanisms that orchestrate the plasticity of skeletal muscle mitochondria are unfolded. The present data indicated that transcriptional events contributed to increase in mitochondrial mass in human skeletal with endurance training.

Impact of a competitive Marathon race on systematic cytokine and neutrophil responses

The concentration of cytokine was tested in plasma and urine samples, with a further view to examine the possible associations among cytokines and neutrophil mobilization.
